Melting
The mixed raw materials are put into the glass melting furnace and melted at a high temperature (generally 1500℃ - 1600℃). During the melting process, the raw materials undergo a series of complex physical and chemical changes, gradually forming a uniform, bubble-free glass liquid.
Molding
Blowing: Usually using an automatic blowing machine, the glass liquid is dripped into a mold and then blown by compressed air to form the glass liquid into the desired shape of the glass jar inside the mold. For 450ml glass jars, the blowing pressure and time will be adjusted according to the specific design size and shape.
Press and Blow Molding: Some glass jars with high requirements for dimensional accuracy and appearance may be molded by press and blow molding. The glass liquid is first poured into the mold for preliminary pressing to form a rough shape, and then blown to make the surface of the glass jar smoother and the size more accurate.
Annealing
After molding, there exists a large internal stress inside the glass jar, which needs to be annealed. The glass jar is placed in an annealing furnace, slowly heated to a certain temperature (lower than the softening temperature of glass) and held for a period of time, and then slowly cooled to eliminate internal stresses, improve the strength and stability of the glass jar, and prevent rupture during subsequent use.
Inspection of packaging
Quality inspection: Adopt the combination of manual visual inspection and machine testing to inspect the appearance, size, wall thickness, strength and other indicators of the glass jar. Check whether there are bubbles, cracks, deformation and other defects to ensure that the product quality meets the standard.
Packaging into storage: qualified glass jar according to customer requirements for packaging, usually using carton packaging, placing buffer materials in the box, such as foam, paper pads, etc., to prevent damage in the transportation process of mutual collision. Packed glass jars are stored in the warehouse, waiting for shipment.
