But have you found that every bottle of amazing wine uses a different bottle? Wine is an alcoholic beverage, but unlike ordinary beverages, it is a representative drink of lifestyle. Therefore, as a wine "coat" wine bottle, it is naturally different.

For the winemaker, judging a wine, in addition to knowing the wine's vintage, liquor, smell, taste and other information, the bottle should also be known. What is the relationship between wine bottles and wine quality? In fact, the bottle can give us a lot of information to identify the wine, fully understand the bottle, the effect of the wine is more effective.

Usually, wine bottles in different countries produce different styles, so wine bottles are a representative of the wine style of a country. Such as the Hawker bottle in Germany, the Burgundy bottle and the Reboan bottle in the Burgundy region, and the Bordeaux bottle in France, the wine bottles in different regions represent the style and origin of the wine. Such as:

Burgundy bottle

Bottled wines made with Burgundy are naturally produced in Burgundy. How to identify and distinguish these wine bottles? The overall shape of the Burgundy bottle is round and the neck is narrow. As we all know, the Burgundy region is famous for its top grape varieties. Burgundy bottles are used for the packaging of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir wines, and other countries have followed suit. Including the United States, Italy, Spain and other countries, the use of Burgundy bottles for the production of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir has become an unwritten rule.

Bordeaux bottle

In the Bordeaux region of France's famous wine region, the canned bottles are called Bordeaux bottles, while the Bordeaux-produced grapes are usually dominated by Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The Bordeaux bottle differs from the Burgundy bottle in that it has a wider shoulder but is straighter overall. When we see this type of wine bottle, it can be brewed on the place where it is produced and the grape varieties used.

Hawker bottle

This type of wine bottle is the representative of German wine. The world-renowned Riesling and Gewürztraminer wine bottles are similar in shape to the Hawker bottle. The Hawker bottle is brown in color, tall and thin, and has a similar shape to the Moselle bottle, which is also used for canning German-produced wines.

In addition, there are a variety of wine bottles such as Piccolo bottles, Rehoboam bottles, and champagne bottles, which will not be described here.
