VS, VSOP, XO are essentially the quality divisions of brandy, and the quality of brandy largely depends on its aging time in oak barrels. Simply put, wines from the same winery are more expensive over time, and relatively, the better. For example, Rémy Martin XO, Hennessy XO, these XO wines are at the level of 1000 yuan, because they must be aged at least 10 years in oak barrels. And VSOP grade brandy can only be stored in oak barrels for 4 and a half years, so the price is only a hundred yuan level. As for VS, it has only been stored in oak barrels for 2 years and the price is even cheaper. This is also the essential difference between "VS, VSOP, XO", which is the difference caused by the different storage time of brandy in oak barrels.
